Thanksgiving 2007 with the Wilkoffs  − 23 November, 2007

Thanksgiving is a much loved and anticipated time in the Counter household, pretty.  If you're a "Friends" fan, we have an exact opposite view of the Holiday than Chandler.  It's no secret that Thanksgiving dinner is Mandy's favorite meal; couple that with freinds, family, and football and you've got yourself a party. 

 This year's celebreation was extra special since it was the first with Stella.  On top of that, Ben, Kara and Isabelle came from Denver for a few days to help make the time even better.  There was too much food but that didn't stop us from trying to take it all down.  The Hanky Pankies were a flying success for the second straight year (ask us for the recipe if you want) as was the rest of the food that the Mandy and Kara put together. 

This year was also my first exposure to "Black Friday."  Ben and I went out at 5am to get a deal.  Here's a piece of advice - STAY HOME !  Just wait a few weeks and you'll see prices for most big-ticket items drop as Christmas approaches.
