Well Hello Amelia!!!  − 4 January, 2008

This is another "or so" entry. I can't remember the actual date, but it's around here.

"It's a GIRL!!!" I could see before the tech even did. She was movig all around, and I just saw a little line. The, well you know... and there she was!

A couple minutes later was the confirmation. We were shocked!! Amelia Isabel is the second girl born in 2 generations! There are 14 other grandchildren, she is the first great grandchild, and there it is!!! My sister is the only other girl born to one of the men in my family, they will be shocked! They will be so excited! We're going to wait for the wedding to announce to the rest of the family since they will all be together for it. I can't wait for the reaction!!!

What to do with a girl though! I have no idea! I can't wait to learn!

Congrats!! How exciting. Do you really think you will be able to keep it a secret until the wedding? How long do you have to wait to let it out?

We waited almost 2 months. I slipped. We were talking about the sonogram, and how active she was. "She waved!!!" I said. Her Mom was there, Her Dad was there, the Pastor and his wife were there, and I turned all shades of red. They kept the secret though and everyone was really excited!
