The Photographer  − 11 March, 2008

The Photographer is on Facebook. My age, dark hair and dark eyes, yummy to look at and quite a chaser...I remember having danced with him in a way that still makes my heart beat faster. As usual he contacted me first...

We had met on Lavalife. I was "somewhat" single, going out with The Artist but not steady and serious. I was bored and thought that the web site would take my mind off of the situation : the guy was afraid of me, didn't want to committ, I felt lonely and cold. It was summer and I agreed to meet the Photographer on the Mont-Royal mountain.

We talked and watched the people. I was taking my time as usual, didn't want to rush into anything. But eventually he kissed me and it was good but not earth-shattering. Well, I felt a bit guilty. But hey, when I'm a serious committment I don't meet strangers ! If the Artist wanted me to be faithful, he should act like what we were living together was important to him.

We walked back to the metro station and he asked me to be his model. I said yes but when he showed me the pictures he had already taken, I felt like it would be a mistake. I have been photographed nude a couple of times but in the digital era it made me think a lot more about it. So I said no. He kept asking me again and again and I said no. Since I would leave the Artist only for something serious and he didn't want that with anyone at the moment having broken up with a girl ot so long ago; and I wasn't interested in being photographed naked, we parted ways.

He called me a bit more than a year later to ask me again. I said no. He said he would call me back and never did. I didn't mind.

And this week he contacted me on Facebook. HE asked me to go for a drink and I said yes. Then HE said he was quite busy for the next few WEEKS. I bet you I won't hear from him again...as usual. He is a fun guy, charming and sooo sexy. But I'm not the kind of girl to wait by my phone or Facebook for a guy.
