I just got the official word back that I'll be starting soon as an in-house web developer for
Jackson National Life. Their world headquarters is here in the Lansing area, and I'll be working at the gorgeous building pictured at the right. I'll be doing client-side dynamic site work, and integrating it with server-side code written by others. It sounds like it'll be a fun, challenging job that'll let me make the most of what I've learned all these years. Of course, I'll still be able to work on the various free projects I'm already involved in, and I'll probably even learn a few new tricks at work that I can bring to the table elsewhere. All in all, a good day. Nay, a great day.
