Stuff from Exes: a List − 28 April, 2008

It's spring again. It's time to do spring cleaning !

Since becoming single (from last time...more than a year ago) I get these cleaning urges where I empty every shelf, every box, every drawer...take out everything from the closets and under the bed and behind the couches...

I give away clothes, dump old souvenirs, recycle love letters. I can never believe that I still have "this" : love letter, drawing, poem, piece of clothing or jewelry...any knicknack from an old flame. I just have to throw it away because realizing I still have so many remainders of my exes just weighs me down.

But some things I just can't throw out ! Here are some things that are still left after many, many purgings.

-Black sweater vest from PP
-Stereo from PB
-Phone from JFS
-Speakers from JFS
-Earrings from SD
-Other jewellry from B, D, S etc
-DVDs copied from JFS
-Books from JP
-Bathrobe from JP
-Many letters from HT
-DVDs from PP
-Coffee cup and saucer from PP
-Picture taken on a trip with JYF
-CDs from JP and from YB
-Interest in spices, psychocorporal psychology, classical music from JYS
-Interest in punk music from YB
-Abilities using Mac and PC from HT
-Knowledge that I can find someone patient enough from JYF and PB
-Joy of sex from JYF and PB

I gave away my Narnia books, my book of the dead, a candle, pyjamas, robes, many letters...then I look around and I'm still surrounded by them. However these you won't find around me :

-Pictures on my walls or fridge of me and my ex
-Lingerie from them
-Candle PP gave me that I realized had come from is now wife's company
-Hair from my ex
-Their panties
-other weird things like toenail clippings
