Garden Project '08 Update  − 4 May, 2008

My tomato seedlings need to be repotted - they dwarf their tiny starting trays.  I'm still ridding my garden of weeds as part of its preparation to receive new little plants.  Here are some garden photos, plus some more yard photos (nice, this time).  I've included my house as well.

I am particularly proud of my soil.  All gardens begin with fine soil.  Soil must be fed and cared for.  That's where compost comes in.  Compost, plus fall leaves, cow or horse manure, and whatever else can make it rich and loamy.

Man, I would like to get a compost bin going. Not going to happen, though. I hate HOAs.

You've got me... HOA? Hotbed of Armadillos?

Home Owners' Association. Or, more succinctly, "a--holes."

That is some beautiful loamy soil! You know you can have a mini composter in your kitchen? Your HOA wouldn't even know that little worms were eating your scraps!
