My First Pink Slip − 9 May, 2008
Stay out of the mortgage industry right now as it is horrible.
Although I am a Flex Developer, we found out today, that the portion of Loan Origination systems and services will be shutting down, and I will be looking for a new job come this November.

Ugh, very sorry to hear about that. I went through knowing I'd be losing my job for many months too. I wish you the very best of luck, and I hope that wherever you land is a good place and lets you flourish and grow.
