Cats Write the Worst Code − 15 May, 2008
There are usually huge chunks of code missing, with no ryhme or reason to why the code leaves off here and picks up there. Their code never compiles, if the language is a compiled language, and just throws errors like crazy if it's interpreted.
That is, when cats have anything at all to do with code.
Like when they are laying across your arms as you try to type, and when they shift their weight suddenly, huge swaths of code disappear. Hopefully you notice, and can select "Undo" before you hit the Save key. There is also the problem of their bodies obstructing your view, so who knows what you are typing.
I've always thought, when I heard cat owners talk about cats sitting almost on their laptops "How absolutely ridiculous. Why on earth would you ever let a cat do that?" But now that I have a cat, I am learning. I wil have to be a bit firmer about making Meep move when I am typing something important, or I will be filling JIRA to its limits.

That's a shame. Could have been some good, cheap labor there. Maybe try getting Meep hopped up on catnip...

I lost my ctrl key because of my cat Trevor. I was trying to get him off of my laptop and he popped the key off. Nice. Be careful.
