I pee  − 16 May, 2008

I sit and as I pee I look around.

The breast self-exam prospectus hanging on the door handle. Every time I’m thinking that I should and I don’t.

Little squares of color, images and quotes, pictures on the door. I read what’s written and I am still in awe that I found those quotes.

Hair and dust on the floor and on the side of the bath. I should vacuum.

The shower curtain in need of replacement. An abandoned shampoo bottle on the floor. Bath mat half hanging from the bath.

The door is off white more than white. Nothing gets the dust better than Mr Clean sponges. Cracks at the bottom, finger prints on the sides, brown smudges where the cat always puts his scent.

This is all okay with me. I get up, I dry myself, pull my panties up every time realizing that they don’t fit so good and I flush. I turn and look around waiting to see ants but they’re not there.
