Gardening update: Compost Day  − 17 May, 2008

Today I added all of the compost I could extract from my two bins.  My larger bin turned out to be a huge disappointment -- almost nothing in it was decomposed enough to use.  That is another story, a sad one.  I got all the compost into the garden, turned the soil, and extracted and neatened up the buried bricks that outline the garden.  I also repaired one of the gates, and cleared out the weeds so it can open.

Good grief, you can really put a guy to shame with your gardening. Here I thought I got something accomplished just by planting a tree.

Oh, Eddie, just wait til August! My peppers will grow taller than me (I'm 5' 8"). If only I could share the excess produce!
