Duct taped wrist brace. Saved me a trip to the clinic for a real fix. Better for the environment - less driving! Looks hip. Today begins my 2-week medical leave to heal my carpal tunnel. Also today I see the gastroenterologist. So I'll find out whether I've got a giant tapeworm or a more mundane stomach sensitivity or whatever.

My wife's wearing the same things. We call them the Risen Mittens (a reference to the Resurrection Gauntlet in the TV series "Torchwood" -- yes, evidently everything we say to each other is some sort of inside joke).

Holding Thule Roof racks on Honda Civics, fully loaded with two kayaks, going over the Mackinaw Bridge. MUCH tougher than space missions.

I have since had to replace that duct tape several times. Then the thumb loop broke, so I duct taped that.
