Joe, Patrick, Derek, Carole, Sophie and the others  − 6 June, 2008

I went out after work yesterday. I had a singles afterwork thing organized by MeetMarket Adventures.

I was dubious as how it would work, who were those people, was I dressed okay, etc.

It was way cool, everyone was so nice and I wasn't bored at all which is surprising because I'm bored easily. Anyway, there was a band there, we ate sushi, I drank a Long Island ice tea, then a coffee because it was getting cold.

I spent my whole time just talking to these people, listening to their stories. There was no speed dating, musical chairs, it was relaxed. Some of the people had gone to more than 30 events, some were first timers like me.

I am definitely going back !

I must say that I want to see Joe again. Red head with blue eyes, reddish skin, smily, a twinkle in his eyes.

But mainly, it was just fun to meet new people and do something else than watch DVDs, go to the gym or read.
