Taking the plunge... − 9 June, 2008
So...Kyle and I have decided to relocate from Del Mar, CA to Naperville, IL! This all happened very suddenly. I can't say it was without a lot of thought and consideration though.
Our opportunities are so much greater than the risks.
We don't have a mortgage, kids, etc. All we have is a mini Ikea showroom and a cat! How easy is that!
Very excited about the move. However, I haven't yet mentioned how hard it will be to leave the friends we love so much. I have been here 5 years now and these people know us so well.
Bittersweet to say the least...

Dang. People on the move all over the place! Nice thing is all the going away parties -- woo-hoo! Usually in my case, though, people wait to party until *after* I leave. Can't imagine why...

What a coincidence we'd both be uprooted at the same time -- good luck on your move. Ours is mostly over . . . there's only the nuclear fallout of paperwork left to consider ;-)

Thanks Bruce! The truck is coming to haul our crap tomorrow. Yikes! At this point I never want a gift again. EVER! Unless it is a bottle of wine. Of course :) Just kidding. However, we are at the scraps of what remains in the kitchen. Who tried to sabotage us by putting things in our apt?!!! I want names!!!!!??!!
