Good News:
I received a response from the hiring manager in England the day after I applied for the position. She's out on travel, but wants to set up an interview for the end of the month when she returns.
Bad News:
The other day I sent some questions to HR regarding various relocation benefits. Does the company provide any assistance for selling our house (they used to actually buy your house, if you wanted them to)? Do we get a house-hunting trip? If we sell the house early (not likely), can we put our stuff in temporary storage before having it shipped over?
I received a response from HR today: No. To every question. Damn it. Well, that will certainly make things a bit more challenging. Especially selling the house without taking it in the ass on the price. That's going to be the primary hurdle to get over. And actually getting the job in first place...
