The best days of my life  − 13 June, 2008

I forgot a lot of things about my young life, but when I see a picture or somebody talk about something, the remembered is clear.

Today, I was supposed to ride a few hundred kilometres under the sun and I woke up at 6, but I took a coffee, put on the air-conditioner on and went back to bed until 1PM.

Some music, and suddenly an old song from Maxime Le Forestier! I was around 20. Sometimes, at night we were all the family talking and playing some music in the living room. My brother and I were playing guitar and my girlfriend A.M. was singing. She was my first true and great love.  You know THE LOVE for all life. Tall, long black hair and blue eyes, she was one of our singers. She is now my best friend since more than 30 years and even I saw her about 20 times in 35 years. Her open mind about life, nature and everything has always seduce me

A.M. became after a really great friend for my mom until her death last year.

When I go to my old country, I always give her a call and pass some moments with her not for remember but just to speak and stand near her. That’s it!

These moments, all together, were really the greatest moments.
