Grumpy  − 20 June, 2008

He's been grumpy for months. He doesn't want to get older, but he's tired, his body aches.

He tries to hide his white hair, to show off his ancient muscles now covered by fat, he thinks it's working. It just makes people think that he's trying to avoid his age. The word here is *trying*. But it shows. His shoulders are hunched, his walking is unequal, he looks tired.

He's grumpy, he's in pain and he's a pain. He doesn't say a word all day. When something bothers him, he throws a fit. He barely grumbles when we say hi.

Time is catching up on him and he doesn't like it one bit.

I think pugs are funny looking little things. They look adorable but they do look like grumpy old men.
