Nice wake-up call − 26 June, 2008
My cat decided it was time for me to get up and instead of meowing, chirping and licking my hair, he decided he was a dog this morning. My eyes were closed and I felt the cat play and roll around and it felt like he was playing with a mouse. (The reason I know what it feels like is, well, I know. My other cat played with a mouse one night, in the apartment...) He made those strange strangled sounds a cat does when he has a prey in his mouth.
And he did. It was his ball. :)
I picked the ball, threw it and tried getting back to sleep. But he came back with the ball. He dropped it on the covers and waited. I threw it again, etc.
At 7, the radio-clock started and the phone rang. It was J-L, he was downstairs, he wanted to say good morning. Very exciting. I usually sprint during my mornings so we talked as I made breakfast (he ate my crusts), drank my coffee, washed my face, brushed my teeth...He even repaired my oven fan that mysteriously fell down while we talked on the phone last night. It felt great to let him do it.
He is such a nice person and so fun to be with. He thinks of joining my gym (big committment don't you think) so we can spend more time together (I go 4-5 times a week) and he asked if I wanted to take dance lessons with him. I said yes.
I really like him. Already.
