Impulsive buyer! − 16 July, 2008
Since a couple of months, I want to buy a new digital reflex camera. I bought a few compact ones but I’d like to own a nice SLR one. I have read a lot of reviews on the Internet but I already have a Nikon F75 which uses regular film 35mm and a good lens (28-200 zoom). My compact digital is a Nikon 4300 with a double adaptor lens which works well for short distances but for landscape; it is a little bit difficult. So now all I need is a camera body and a short angle lens. I went to a specialist in Montreal and the guy explains me that my lens was only good with a pro or semi-pro Nikon camera like the D80. My lens is in digital use a 42-300. So I looked at the D80 (I had already read a lot about this one) and found it nice but more expensive than reason.
So I decided to buy it! With some accessories and taxes it cost me nearly two pay-checks!
I going to reduce my travel distance and take lunches for a while. I going to read the manual and tomorrow I will try it.
Spending money is one of my favourite’s hobbies.
I’m impulsive and I like photo and motorcycle.
Bah! Why not! After all, I know who I am and assume it!
