Dandelife growing pains  − 21 July, 2006

Wow. Lot's of link love from blogs today. But sadly, the site was down for too long. We got too popular it seems. Things have stabilized now and we've definitely optimized the site for more traffic.

Reminds me of the old adage: "Becareful what you ask for. You just may receive it."

So this was the first test of Dandelife. Hopefully we past it. No data lost. The response to our letter going out explaining the outage was met with several emails back to me applauding our efforts and newfound popularity. So it seems we have a lot of patient fans waiting to tell more, share more, and generally make this a great place to be. In a way, I couldn't be happier. Still and all, it would have been nice to be up all day instead of down. :-)
